Make a difference in the process of learning
THE PROJECT

The “Tools for Better Learning” (TOBE) project, funded under the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU program, is a partnership initiative focused on creating a digital platform for non-formal learning. This platform will serve as a central resource for youth workers, educators, volunteers, and young people, especially those from diverse or marginalized backgrounds. The platform will host a comprehensive database of non-formal educational methods, tools, and games presented through video tutorials, manuals, kits, and interactive content. This accessible and user-friendly platform aims to simplify learning processes, foster digital skills, and promote inclusivity across Europe.
Make a difference in the process of learning
our mission
Non-formal education (NFE) plays a critical role in fostering life skills, social inclusion, and personal growth, yet it often lacks structure and accessibility. Many young people, especially those from rural or disadvantaged communities, do not have easy access to non-formal educational resources, particularly in digital formats. Additionally, the digital age has created new demands for skills and competencies that traditional education alone may not fully address. With the ongoing impacts of socio-political challenges and the economic downturns affecting youth employment across Southern and Eastern Europe, there is an urgent need for accessible, adaptable, and relevant learning tools that can bridge gaps and promote personal and professional development.
Establish an online platform offering easy access to a range of non-formal learning tools, games, and methods, catering to youth workers, volunteers, and educators.
Equip young people with essential digital competencies, aligning with the EU’s Digital Education Action Plan (DEAP), making the learning experience accessible and relevant in today’s digital landscape.
Facilitate a learning environment where young people from multicultural and marginalized backgrounds can learn, share, and grow. This is especially pertinent for young Ukrainian migrants and other marginalized groups who may face social and educational barriers.
Develop an interactive and inclusive online community where youth workers and young learners can share resources, experiences, and insights, further strengthening the impact of non-formal education.
TOBE will increase access to essential learning tools, empowering young people with skills that are practical, adaptable, and aligned with the demands of today’s digital world.
Enhanced skills and digital literacy will improve employability among young people, helping to bridge skill gaps in the workforce, particularly in underserved and economically challenged regions.
